We are excited to announce that ADW Architects has officially moved into our new Raleigh office! As we continue to work on many projects with local clients in the area, we are expanding & strengthening our ability to serve our clients throughout the state.
AIA Charlotte CANstruction 2022
ADW participated in AIA Charlotte’s CANstruction event again this year and won the “Best use of Labels” award for the build. At this year’s event, our team at ADW constructed a butterfly, symbolic of hope, transformation, and change.
CANstruction is a non-profit 501(c)3 charity which hosts competitions and events around the world each year. All food used in each construction is donated to local food banks. Here in Charlotte, all cans are donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Briarwood Academy Back-to-School Supply Drive 2019
This year we donated school supplied to the CMS Briarwood Academy. ADW is currently designing the new replacement elementary school for the academy and it has provided us with many community outreach opportunities. We are very fortunate to be able to lend such support to the faculty, students, and their families!
Evan is an Architect!
We’re on a roll with these pizza parties thanks to the hardworking individuals who are crushing their registration requirements. Evan is the latest to successfully ARE exams and AXP hours and we couldn’t be more excited and happy for him!
Hope Match Heroes of Hope 2018
Over the last few weeks, ADW continued the tradition of partnering with Hope Match to provide school supplies to families in need. This year, Hope Match decided to switch things up and instead of distributing specific items to each sponsored child, all donations were compiled together in a fun "store" setting where kids got to "shop" freely for their own school supplies. It was a huge success and we really enjoyed being able to help make this day possible. We couldn't have done it without the overwhelming generosity and support of the entire ADW family!
Brand New Architect
Josh did it guys. He made it through nearly 4,000 experience hours and 6 registration exams and is now the firm's 20th architect! To celebrate this massive accomplishment ADW holds all new architects their very own pizza party.
We all know the path to licensure is no easy feat. Years of schooling, months of studying, and even more years of hard work and experience has gotten him to this point. Congratulations, Josh! You definitely earned it.
CANstruction 2018
ADW participated in CANstruction again this year. Our structure carried the theme of Captain America: Fighting Hunger the AmeriCAN way! The team had a great and successful build and we are proud of them for representing ADW in a cause to combat hunger.
